KATS Theatre Group is proud to boast being Kilkenny’s oldest amateur theatre group, having been established in 1986 by Michael Casey.
We are nearing the end of our fourth decade of performing for Kilkenny
audiences and had the immense pleasure of entertaining thousands
of people bringing them laughs, shocks, tears and scares🎭

Stage Combat Workshop
Don’t miss our Stage Combat Workshop this January with Conor Duffy. Learn the essentials of safe, effective stage combat with this beginners workshop. This workshop covers key unarmed techniques, introductory sword work, & short fight choreography.

Previous productions:
Scar Tissue is about a heart surgeon whose own heart is in disrepair. As she takes on a new patient- a veteran- she is overcome by her own sense of loss as she is haunted by the loss of her daughter who died in the war in Afghanistan.
